Working Mission Statement
The Rhode Island Teaching Artists Center provides a physical and virtual place for Rhode Island-based teaching artists to access resources and idea sharing, serves as a bridge between teaching artists and those in need of teaching artists, and builds the field of the teaching artist profession.

About RITAC Planning Year
The Rhode Island Teaching Artists Center (RITAC) is currently in its planning year funded by a grant from the Rhode Island Foundation with support from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA) and the Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre (The Gamm). The Center is housed and administered at The Gamm in collaboration with RISCA. In our planning year, we are exploring different event topics and formats that align with our mission statement. During this process, we are gathering information about the successes and challenges of our events and services to take into consideration for our long term planning. The RITAC planning year spans August 2013 through August 2014.
